4. Research Interests

 

My research interests focus mainly on Applied Computational Intelligence and Machine Learning and Parallel Processing. In particular, I am currently working in the development of:

§   Cheminformatics – QSAR - Machine learning algorithms for predicting ADMET properties for drug design,

§   Nonlinear Regression and Machine learning algorithms for prediction of thermodynamic properties,

§   Machine learning algorithms for prediction of mechanical properties in polymer blends,

§   Design of parallel algorithms for nonlinear optimization,

§   Visiting Researcher at Institut Pasteur (IPMon), Montevideo, Uruguay. From Febraury-August 2011. Activity: predicting multiple phenotypes using SNPs information.
