THIS ISN'T WHAT I HAD IN MIND BUT...

I make a VF-25 in 3D, however CG graphics don’t take part in this project. I build specifically a Bandai’s RVF-25 1/72, an impressive piece of engineering.

It took a lot of my free time for a month or so, but it was a nice change in my routine. In its current state it needs some more paint work, especially in the glasses and in some black lines in arms and radar.

Some notorious characteristics of this project:

  • Almost 180 decals (160 watter decals, the rest stickers).
  • Four paint colors (black, silver, green and cream).
  • Two layers of coat.
  • The usage of MicroSol and MicroSet.
  • And, this is important, a lot of patience.

A PROJECT I REALLY WANT TO DO

After the good results I had with the Lamborghini LP640, it came to my mind the development of this project: the modeling, illumination, animation and texturing of a VF-25. Particularly the VF-25S of Ozma.

The VF-25, a variable fighter developed by Shinsei Industry, has a slim profile that makes it not only versatile but also, in my humble opinion, a very good looking VF.

If in the future I decide to start this project, it will not be an easy task, but it will be fun and I will enjoy this a lot. I hope this future to came pronto.
